We was beat from the day we was born.

Ellen and I finished watching Return of the Jedi, thus completing our Star Wars extravaganza.  I guess I must say that I have given in to the Force and become a Star Wars fan ... especially since Ellen bought me this really cool Darth Vader T-shirt from Wal-Mart!  My life in the past week has been engrossed by Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Newsies.  For example, when I was reading the new HP (btw, it was super good .... much better than OotP ... aaarrrgghhh!!) I would find myself thinking, Gosh why doesn't Harry just use the Force?  Or in Newsies when Jack is fighting the DeLancey's I'm like c'mon, just whip out your light saber!

So i just remembered an AIM convo I had with Ellen a long time ago in which I told her I hated life because it kept me from the alternate reality of books and television.  So true.  At the beginning of summer I told myself I would read all these books and watch all these movies I had never seen, but the stupid "real world" has completely gotten in the way!  This angers me.  But, alas, anger is a path to the Dark Side! Noooooooo!

I have come to the conclusion that I am angst incarnate, just like Frodo.  If only I were a hobbit! (actually, I would prefer to be Eowyn, because then I would get together with Faramir ... haha)

Welp, anyhoo, I feel I must recap a few things ....

Day-o-Fun w/ Al and Ellen included new t-shirts, tank tops, an Indians game, me sitting very close to some strangers, and the 12:01 am showing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! (cannibalism haha)

I forced myself to read Harry Potter V before I would let myself read the new one (that was a snooze fest, honestly that book does NOT have to be so long), but I finsihed Half-Blood Prince and it was super good (I won't say anymore about it though, bc Ellen hasn't read it yet and I want her to be surprised)

and lastly, Cedar Point included some serious Cousins Bonding!! Woo-Hoo!!  And Jake, you were right about the Matterhorn ... grrrr.  And even though you didn't win a prize for me (like you promised you would) you're still my fave cousin *wink*

HAHAHHAHA! I totally get your entire post, but who else would? Emma I can't wait for our next light-saber duel. CAn you believe only two weeks ago I couldn't even tell you what a light-saber was? (Okay that's a stretch, but my speech impediment sure was getting in the way!)

I loved you! You were my brother!
I smell money- You smell foul!
We're not stupid, we know we're called Gred and Forge.
Even I am eat-able, but that's called cannibalism, which is not acceptable in most societies.

perhaps anger is the path to the dark side, but you gotta admit that Darth Maul is cool. And jake is my favorite cousin!

CP was great, just wish i could have stayed longer. Althought to follow up on that i made it to work on time but i didn't have time to stop at home and get some shoes and socks ( i had sandals on). I put my shirt and time card in my car before CP just in case but was a good thing i just happen to have some shoes in my trunk but still no socks. Anyhoo, just wish i didn't have to work that day, it was some good FFTT, as you girls put it.

HP

I totally agree that HB Prince is better than OotP but why does Harry not think that the HB Prince could be He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.(I fear for my life and cannot bring myself to say Voldemort. O No! I said it!)That seems a bit obvious after all those sessions with Dumbledore. Then again I havent quite finished the book and it will all become clear to me when this is done.
